SRK Fashion Photo Shoot of Kurtis
The Kurta is a generic term used in South Asia for several forms of upper garments for men with regional variations of form. Conventionally they are paired with the traditional Payjama to complete the outfit.
When a woman wears a traditional Kurta, it is generally called a Kurti. The Kurtis are often much shorter than the male Kurta and it usually fall between the waist and the mid-thigh. Kurtis are traditionally worn with pajamas, salwars, churidars or traditional dhotis, but are now also worn with jeans.
